MEMBERSHIP INTAKE

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the 100 Black Men of West Alabama, Inc.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life within communities and enhance educational, health, and economic opportunities for all African-Americans and, especially boys and young men of color. We are committed to the intellectual development of youth and economic empowerment of the African-American community based on the precepts of respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity. 

To apply for membership, you should complete the application linked below. 

Membership intake forms will be reviewed in a timely manner, and each applicant will be contacted for further guidance about our intake process. Each applicant will need to upload a 1) current resume, 2) letter of recommendation (from an active member of the 100 Black Men of West Alabama Inc.), 3) must provide three references with the submission of the intake form. Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

If your membership application is approved, you will be expected to pay the annual membership dues in the amount of $300.  Note: This may be paid in up to three installments.   

Membership applications are reviewed at each monthly meeting and those who are invited to become members of the 100 Black Men of West Alabama, Inc. are expected to complete a new member orientation and accept a committee assignment.  After orientation is completed and dues are paid, all rights and privileges are granted to those new members.
